Solid live BON JOVI Cd with a few surprises too!

ONE WILD NIGHT Live 1985-2001 from BON JOVI is an excellent 15 track live Cd that features most of the band's biggest hits including "It's My Life," "Wanted Dead Or Alive" (my favorite track), "Livin' On A Prayer,"
and "You Give Love A Bad Name". What makes the Cd special though to me is the two cover versions
on the disc, a ripper version of NEIL YOUNG's classic tune "Rockin' In The Free World," and a cover
of the BOOMTOWN RATS famous track "I Don't Like Mondays," featuring Bob Geldof no less! So if you are
a BON JOVI fan, than ONE WILD NIGHT Live is a Cd you definitely want to have in your collection. I give

My favorite Bon Jovi album.

The Greatest Hits release notwithstanding, this is far and away my favorite Bon Jovi CD. I don't usually like live performances of bands. Dunno why. Something about the shrieking crowds never shutting up in the background ruins it for me. But the Bon Jovi fans on this disc however are remarkably well-behaved compared to those on other bands' live recordings. They even participate and sing certain parts of songs, adding to the listening experience. So while I normally detest live performances, 'One Wild Night' is one I not only don't mind but actually enjoy to the fullest. I listen to it even more than their Greatest Hits CD!

I used to listen to it a lot on my computer over and over while surfing the Web. This was back in the early 2000's. The CD became lost. A bad thing, since it wasn't mine, but my mom's. I had, er, "borrowed" it from her at the time. Fortunately I was able to get her a replacement here on good old eBay (and an extra one for myself!).Read full review...
