Razor worked good, dropped it on the 2nd shave and broke the screen, they wanted $24 to replace the screen bought another razor for less than that.

extra thick hair with extra soft skin type of beard

The thing is worthless if you're someone of color who has course hair. I am female and bought it because it's for men which I assumed it would be more effective than the female versions since those target people with finer hair, but this thing didn't shave not even a slight bit of hair. A quality product at a good price point...

This is my second one. I still have the first one, from several years back, and it still works fine. I bought the second as a backup. They give a comfortable close enough shave, and are easy to hold and maneuver around your face. Battery life is decent with alkalines.
