Cars, cars. cars-love 'em!

You have to enjoy cars if you buy this dvd set. In the series there are regular appearances by certain well known members of the car communities such as Jay Leno, Chip Foose and other collectors, designers and manufacturers. It is not easy for me to remember who was in certain episodes because I have been watching 4 seasons of Rides.
One thing I will caution readers of this review about is that even though the 4 different seasons are rated as All Regions viewable, I had issues with seasons 2 and 4, both bought from Australia. I could not view them and a message would come on my tv screen about the color program not supported. After checking online for similar reports of this problem, I discovered that Sony Blu-Ray players were the culprit. Something in their software prevented me from viewing these 2 collections, something to do with the discs prior to any recording were designated as region 4. The suggestion was to try a different brand of dvd player, and that worked. I hooked up my LG Blu-Ray player and I am now able to view the series.
I found most of the episodes interesting and enjoyable, watching many car builds, gatherings and meets, viewing how ideas are transformed into cars. Christopher Titus is in several episodes in the 4 series, as are some of the ZZ Top cars. After I had bought and viewed season 1, I searched for any other seasons I could find. 1 and 3 were found in the US, seasons 2 and 4 from Australia. But all are listed as Region Free viewing. If you search for the dvd collections out of the US, be sure they are listed as region free unless you own a region free dvd player because many of the offerings are Region 2 or 4.
Each disc has 2 episodes minimum, some have bonus features, too.
If you like cars, I think you will find these collections very entertaining, informative and enjoyable. I recommend them.
